Indira Balkissoon
Vice President of Business Development, TechLaw, Inc.

Indira Balkissoon is Vice President of Business Development at TechLaw Inc. In this role, she advises the company President on strategy and opportunities associated with business development and provides expert technical consulting in the areas of climate change, greenhouse gases and sustainability.

Prior to joining TechLaw she was a Principal Consultant at Det Norske Veritas working in Climate Change. In addition, Indira has served as a regulator at the Environmental Protection Agency. As a regulator, she administrated federal funding, initiated requests for program support and managed project work. She developed requests for proposals for grant programs and evaluated proposals for award recommendations. She also served as a federal contract manager and a project officer.

In the private sector, as Vice President of Business Development and Program Manager at TechLaw, she managed several large government contracts. She successfully identified and won funding from a wide variety of federal, state and municipal agencies related to environmental, health and transportation issues.
